We are introducing the 2010-2011 Van Meter Student Library Squad. We meet every Wednesday from 7:45 to 8:20am in the secondary library.
The goal of our SQUAD is to promote reading and help the library improve. Anyone in the grades 6-12 is invited to join.
Our first big project is the Scholastic Book Fair coming up the week of November 8th!!!! You should come check it out during conferences on November 9th and 11th.
Another goal we are going to try and accomplish is buying furniture for the library and making a lounge area in the library. I think everyone would enjoy a place to read and work on projects.
So if you want to be apart of this wonderful program please come to our next meeting on Wednesday October 20 at 7:45 am.
